NOTICE OF VISA REQUIREMENT INTO INDONESIA
PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT THE GOVERNMENT OF INDONESIA WILL IMPOSE THE “ VISA ON ARRIVAL “ POLICY EFFECTIVE 1ST FEBRUARY 2004.

Category 1 Countries / Passports Exempted from Visas are: -

* SAR – Special Admin Region

Category 2 Countries / Nationals that require Visa On Arrival are: -
** With effect from 1 August 2005 (Additional 14 countries)    *** With effect from 15 March 2006 (Sweden)

Category 3       Countries Not Listed above will have to apply for Visas in advance at
the Indonesian Embassy.

* Please note that the visa is not extendable and cannot be used for employment purposes.
* Visitors are required to have at hand the following documents for VOA application:

1.Passport with minimum 6 (six) months’ validity
2.Arrival/departure Card
3.Return or onwards journey ticket

TENTATIVELY, VISA ON ARRIVAL CHARGES ARE AS FOLLOWS
(amended wef. 1 Aug) :-

•USD 10.00 – Valid for 7 days/6 nights
•USD 25.00 – Valid for 8 to 30 days
•Overstay – USD 20.00 per day

Passengers that require Visa On Arrival (VOA), please take note of the following Procedures :

  • Before arriving at the Designated airport or seaport, fill in the arrival/departure card. This card serves as visa application form.
  • Upon arrival at the destination, go to the bank counters available, pay the visa fee.  Please prepare the exact amount in USD

  (US$10 for 7 days AND US$25 for 8-30days) and get a bar-coded receipt.

  • Please bring along the exact amount in US Dollars for payment of VOA fees.
  • Proceed to the Visa-On-Arrival Counter to have the arrival/departure card, passport and payment
  • Receipt scanned and recorded in the immigration computer. A sticker visa is issued instantly.
  • Proceed to the immigration checkpoint for clearance.
